The Trumped Up Trickle Down
Make a pyramid out of champagne glasses. Pour all of the champagne into the top glasses and see if any lands in any of the lower glasses, or if, like the poorest people in our society, they are left out completely with no hope of ever getting any champagne. If anyone suggests that it’s unfair that the glasses at the top get all the champagne, be sure to point out any real or imagined flaws that you can think of that the glasses at the bottom may have. Perhaps if they were better looking, had more education, worked harder, or were more deserving, they might be able to have some champagne. Or perhaps the reality is that the glasses at the top are just plain greedy.
